Dominique Vande Langerijt

Biography Dominique
Born in Belgium, grew up in Germany, since then the world has been my village. I grew up around computers and technology, so a study in IT seemed to be the logical thing. Working in a bank, I was fascinated by the virtuality of it all, just data being created, manipulated, moved, erased, through numerous processes and systems… But there was more out there, because asset managers, pension funds, private banks all manipulated data in their own way! The next step was obvious: consulting. Through international projects I realized that change only works and makes an impact if it starts with a vision at the crossroads of data, business and IT. So I became an Enterprise Architect and that is what I have been doing ever since.

Architecture was also the reason for my other love: photography. The way we build impressive feats of engineering, the way nature finds a way to shape majestic landscapes, it has been a hobby which teaches me a lot about the commonalities and differences between virtual architecture and real-life constructions.

But of course, my life would not be complete without my family, with whom I try to spend what little spare time I have. I will always be grateful for their support and tolerance in all the endeavors, like Mount Consulting, as without them this adventure would not be possible.

After graduating with a master’s in business economics from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) I spent six years at a major Dutch bank, working on various finance and risk change projects. During this time, I was seconded for a year in the New York office with the local finance team, which was a great experience both from a professional and personal perspectives. After that spell I started my own one-man consulting business for several years, focusing on finance, risk and ESG change projects. Since the summer of 2024, I’m working at Mount Consulting where I’m looking to bring my skills and expertise to help both our company as well as our clients to be successful.

Lianda Leeggangers

Biography Lianda
My professional journey began at Rabobank, where I worked as a student alongside my studies. I earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s in quantitative finance. After that, I continued at Rabobank as a risk management trainee and later took on various roles in risk and change management. This experience gave me a strong foundation in financial services, with over 20 years of expertise. Over time, I realized that my passion lies in driving (change) projects at the intersection of enterprise risk, financial risk, data, and analytics.
One key lesson I’ve learned along the way is that direction is more important than speed—change is inevitable, but starting at the right pace is crucial. This mindset led me to the consulting sector, and in 2025, I joined Mount Consulting. I’m excited to be part of the team, contributing to both the company’s growth and meaningful, lasting change for our clients.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me on the tennis court, enjoying long walks, or experimenting in the kitchen.
 

Brune Riemeijer

Biography Brune

Ik ben mijn carrière begonnen als consultant en dat ben ik sindsdien altijd gebleven. Ik startte bij Deloitte, maakte daarna de overstap naar ABN AMRO, werkte bij verschillende kleinere consultancybureaus en deed ook ervaring op als zelfstandig consultant.

In de afgelopen jaren heb ik voornamelijk in de financiële sector gewerkt, waar ik aan een breed scala aan opdrachten heb gewerkt en deze ook heb geleid. Van IT-selectie en -implementatie tot data- en datakwaliteitsmanagement, en van ERM-implementaties tot projecten op het gebied van Regulatory Reporting.

Wat mij drijft? Werken met teams van specialisten en experts op het gebied van finance, risk, data en IT om samen complexe uitdagingen succesvol aan te pakken. Die combinatie van uitdagende opdrachten en deskundige collega’s maakt het werk voor mij interessant.

Bij Mount wil ik dat blijven doen: samenwerken met gedreven professionals aan projecten die ertoe doen.

Sena Burcu Sahin

Biography Sena

Afgestudeerd in 2020 aan de Boğaziçi Universiteit in Istanbul met een bachelor in Bedrijfskunde. Na bijna een jaar te hebben gewerkt als Sales Operations Specialist in de telecommunicatiesector, maakte ik de overstap naar het vakgebied van financieel risicomanagement, waar data, finance en consultancy samenkomen. Mijn carrière begon als consultant en ontwikkelde zich verder tot senior consultant gedurende een periode van drie jaar, waarin ik werkte aan projecten op het gebied van Regulatory Liquidity, Asset Liability Management, Hedge Accounting en Market Risk. Ik heb het werk als consultant als zeer waardevol ervaren, waarbij ik banken ondersteunde bij het transformeren van hun processen om efficiëntie, besluitvorming en compliance te verbeteren.

Om mijn horizon te verbreden, verhuisde ik in 2024 naar Nederland om een MSc in Business Administration – Strategy te volgen aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Na mijn afstuderen in 2025 ben ik in januari 2026 gestart bij Mount Consulting als Senior Consultant. Ik streef ernaar bij te dragen aan Mount-projecten door een strategische aanpak te combineren met financiële expertise.

Biography Joost Jan
I started working in a small boutique consulting firm while finishing my Master’s degree in Financial Economics, and never considered a change of industry since. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work in small, medium-sized and large international consulting firms to continuously develop myself. Being at the front of large scale transformation projects, both in London and Amsterdam, for several years, I decided it was time to be at the front of our own consulting firm!

At Mount, I focus on CFO and CRO transformation projects. The past decade, regulators are a major force driving change, even more so in the future. We commit to deliver the best strategic solutions to CFO and CRO to deliver this change.

Biography Lex

My professional career started at Rabobank as a management trainee. This gave me the opportunity to see many different aspects of a bank in a short timeframe. When I joined the bank’s international division and was involved in the setup of new offices abroad this experience was enriched by gaining understanding of how senior executives and regulators are looking at the performance of a bank. After working with several external advisors, I changed sides and first joined Ernst Young Consulting and subsequently KPMG Consulting. For almost twenty years I was involved in developing it’s management consulting practice in the Financial Services sector.

After KPMG I joined ACE Company first concentrating on developing it’s interim practice and later consulting. Four and half years later I transferred to Mount Consulting. Why Mount Consulting? Mount Consulting offers a very focused offering to Risk and Finance executives in Financial Services based on in depth expertise in those areas and delivered in a hands-on no nonsense way. This resonates with me and far more important: it resonates with our clients.

When I am not working I love to go outside with my camera “hunting” kingfishers, eagles and other wildlife.

 

Sabine Swennenhuis

I graduated from the Erasmus University, where I completed my MSc in Finance. The next step was clear: consultancy in the financial services sector. After taking some time off for my other passion, travelling and discovering a new culture, I started working in a medium-sized international consulting firm.

Soon I discovered that the flexibility and no-nonsense of a niche firm would suit me better and I was lucky enough to join Mount Consulting, where I can now focus on strategy and transformation within the CFO and CRO domains. While bringing our clients imagination to life, I can also focus on developing myself and the company, for me this is the ideal combination.

Biography Jesse
I believe I bring a dynamic blend of academic rigor and real-world expertise to the team at Mount Consulting. I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa. My academic journey led me to obtain degrees in Political Studies, Entrepreneurship, and Management from the University of Cape Town (UCT). I also completed my MBA while working full-time in the financial services sector. Throughout my career, I have always encouraged critical thought and analysis.

With an appetite for growth, Mount offers a platform to do what I enjoy, which is develop my personal and professional skills while working alongside like-minded individuals. I find excitement in engaging with both new and existing clients where I am challenged daily, to leverage my skillset and find sustainable solutions.

Biography Thijs
Having started my career in Accountancy, I switched to consulting after passing my Certified Accountant (‘RA’) exam. Triggered to add value by advisory rather than auditing numbers and processes. Growing experience at EY, PwC, Capco and Synechon, in New York, London, and Amsterdam, in consulting as well as leading positions, I decided it was time providing the financial services industry with an alternative for the current consulting firms. Together with my partner fellows also pictured at this site. And so Mount Consulting arose.

At Mount, like in the last 20 years within other consulting firms, I focus my advisory skills at the CFO and CRO domain of financial services organisations, and, more specifically, at aligning both functions to improve performance.

In 2020, I left Turkey for the Netherlands to study at the Rotterdam School of Management. There, I commenced my bachelor’s degree in international business administration and seized the opportunity to delve into Game Theory, earning a minor’s degree while honing my specialization in finance. Over three years, my studies helped me develop important skills, especially in making analytical decisions. In my last year, my interest in finance grew, and I shifted my focus to more specific financial studies, confirming my commitment to a career in finance. 

Now, as a consultant at Mount Consulting, I’m committed to pursuing my goals in the financial services industry. I’m excited about the chance to enhance my expertise in finance by working on meaningful projects with our valued clients. 

Madina Abbasova

Biography Madina
Born in Azerbaijan and educated across Indonesia, Greece, and the Netherlands, my journey has been marked by diverse cultural experiences and an ever-evolving eclectic range of interests. However, one constant has been my deep fascination with economics and its imperative influence on societal structures and market dynamics. This curiosity drove me to successfully obtain a BSc in Business Economics, followed by an MSc in Strategic Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics.

Engaging actively in the entrepreneurial landscape of the Netherlands while accruing professional experiences from roles in Venture Capital, scaleups, and an MNC enhanced my passion for the financial world. Driven by the aim to add value to financial institutions, I have joined Mount Consulting as a Consultant.

Ludo Fortuin

After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Economics at Utrecht University, I gained practical experience through an internship position in audit. This opportunity helped me realize that my true passion lies beyond auditing numbers and processes, motivating me to challenge myself further when pursuing my Master’s degree. It helped me realize that my passion and interests lay more broadly within the field of Finance.

Following an extremely inspiring trip through Japan where I immersed myself in its vibrant culture, I subsequently pursued a high-ranked MSc programme in Finance & Investments at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam. My academic journey included engaging with complex financial models, case studies that sharpened analytical skills and deepened my personal interest in financial data analysis. After graduating, I began searching for positions that would allow me to combine my broad skillset and personal interests. With a strong affinity for the financial services industry and a genuine passion for helping others, I narrowed my scope to opportunities in advisory services which have ultimately led me to Mount Consulting.

At Mount, I am eager to enhance my analytical skills and develop a critical mindset through hands-on projects that deliver sustainable solutions for our clients. I look forward to promoting personal growth and knowledge in the fast-paced and unique financial advisory landscape here at Mount Consulting. Having started in Banking during my Bachelor’s degree, setting directions for the start of my career came easy. It was clear from day 1 that I thoroughly enjoy facing the challenges that come with managing a banks’ balance sheet within all regulatory and other boundaries that exist. 

Over the past decades I have been able to face many such challenges while having either a leading or participating role in various strategic projects related to operating model redesign or large scale IT implementations at Rabobank. 

At Mount Consulting  I will focus my attention towards tackling similar strategic challenges with a focus on Treasury/ALM and Capital Markets for our current & prospective clients in the financial services industry.

Na het afronden van mijn bachelor Bedrijfskunde aan de Athens University of Economics and Business besloot ik mijn ambitie om in het buitenland te wonen en werken na te streven door een master Banking and Finance te behalen aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Sindsdien bouw ik aan een carrière waarin ik financiële instellingen help hun risicobeheer- en compliancepraktijken te versterken, onder andere bij een grote Nederlandse bank binnen de risk- en reportingafdeling.

Bij Mount Consulting word ik gedreven door projecten waar data, regelgeving en impact samenkomen—waarbij ik kritisch denkvermogen en analytische vaardigheden inzet om onze klanten te helpen goed onderbouwde, waarde toevoegende beslissingen te nemen. Ik voel me in het bijzonder aangetrokken tot projecten met grote impact op financiële integriteit, strategie-implementatie en beleidsanalyse, waarmee ik bijdraag aan een transparanter en veerkrachtiger financieel systeem.

Biography Majoke
Mijn interesse voor de financiele sector is gewekt toen ik middenin de financiele crisis aan mijn studie Bedrijfskunde begon. Na het afronden van mijn master (International Financial management) was een start als business consultant in de financiele sector dan ook geen onlogische keuze. Als business consultant heb ik mij met name gefocused op projecten binnen het CRO- en CFO domein, wat na 5 jaar de behoefte triggerde mijn kennis van de financiele markten verder te verdiepen. Ik besloot een overstap te maken naar een Treasuy afdeling van een nederlandse bank. Met veel plezier heb ik gewerkt aan de verschillende Treasury verantwoordelijkheden, maar toen ik de energie en dynamiek van projecten begon te missen, besloot ik mijn opgedane kennis in te brengen bij Mount Consulting.
Binnen Mount focus ik mij op vraagstukken die het Treasury- en ALM-domein raken, om met deze business kijk ervoor te zorgen dat we end-to-end value chain oplossingen realiseren voor onze klanten.

Biography Aleksandra

Ik behaalde mijn bachelor in Management aan de Cracow University of Economics, aangevuld met een uitwisselingssemester aan ESSEC Business School in Parijs. Vervolgens deed ik professionele ervaring op waarmee ik mijn academische basis kon toepassen en versterken. Ik werkte aan financiële en data-analyses, forecasting en M&A-gerelateerd onderzoek, en stelde inzichten en presentaties op ter ondersteuning van besluitvormingsprocessen. Deze ervaringen hebben mijn analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden sterk ontwikkeld en mijn interesse gewekt om mijn kennis van finance verder te verdiepen.

Gemotiveerd om mijn expertise te verbreden, volgde ik een master Financial Economics aan de Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam. Daar volgde ik verdiepende vakken in corporate finance, governance en financiële modellering, wat mijn interesse in de wisselwerking tussen finance en strategie verder heeft aangescherpt.

Bij Mount Consulting wil ik mijn academische achtergrond en praktische ervaring combineren door te werken aan uitdagende projecten die langdurige waarde creëren voor klanten. Mijn internationale traject in Polen, Frankrijk en Nederland heeft mijn open en flexibele blik gevormd, die ik graag meeneem in de dynamische omgeving van Mount Consulting.

After finishing my Bachelors, whilst studying for my Masters degree, I started my professional career in the financial industry with the Rabobank. This industry, although in different roles and companies, I haven’t left till today resulting in 25+ years of track record.

During these years I have grown into an all-round senior manager who combines broad (banking) experience in business, processes and IT, with a results-driven & pragmatic approach.

At Mount Consulting, I will focus my advisory and banking skills at the CFO and CRO domain of financial services organisations to help our clients to be in control today and future ready.
