Finance landscape transformation

A Dutch D-SIB bank, transforming its Finance IT landscape, requested co-leading the 3-years transformation program.

What did we do?

• Design To-Be Business and IT Architecture for Finance including Reporting and integrate architecture with the vendor’s global design of the finance system
• Deliver transformation roadmap with architectural plateaus
• Define standardization proof business and data requirements for accounting and reporting
• Prepare data lineage for all upstream and downstream data sourcing for accounting and reporting
• Implement data governance policies, embedding data ownership as well as ownership for data (quality) requirements setting
• Data migration including audit trail documentation
• Optimize data sourcing and design interfaces both upstream as well as downstream.

 Results achieved

• Target Architecture aligned with vendor’s integration architecture
• Transformation roadmap with architectural plateaus
• New Finance IT landscape effectively supporting the finance function
