I grew up around computers and technology, so a study in IT seemed to be the logical thing. Working in a bank, I was fascinated by the virtuality of it all, just data being created, manipulated, moved, erased, through numerous processes and systems\u2026 But there was more out there, because asset managers, pension funds, private banks all manipulated data in their own way! The next step was obvious: consulting. Through international projects I realized that change only works and makes an impact if it starts with a vision at the crossroads of data, business and IT. So I became an Enterprise Architect and that is what I have been doing ever since.<\/p>\n

Architecture was also the reason for my other love: photography. The way we build impressive feats of engineering, the way nature finds a way to shape majestic landscapes, it has been a hobby which teaches me a lot about the commonalities and differences between virtual architecture and real-life constructions.<\/p>\n

But of course, my life would not be complete without my family, with whom I try to spend what little spare time I have. I will always be grateful for their support and tolerance in all the endeavors, like Mount Consulting, as without them this adventure would not be possible.

My professional journey began at Rabobank, where I worked as a student alongside my studies. I earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s in quantitative finance. After that, I continued at Rabobank as a risk management trainee and later took on various roles in risk and change management. This experience gave me a strong foundation in financial services, with over 20 years of expertise. Over time, I realized that my passion lies in driving (change) projects at the intersection of enterprise risk, financial risk, data, and analytics.<\/div>\n

One key lesson I\u2019ve learned along the way is that\u00a0direction is more important than speed<\/i>\u2014change is inevitable, but starting at the right pace is crucial. Ik ben mijn carri\u00e8re begonnen als consultant en dat ben ik sindsdien altijd gebleven. Ik startte bij Deloitte, maakte daarna de overstap naar ABN AMRO, werkte bij verschillende kleinere consultancybureaus en deed ook ervaring op als zelfstandig consultant.<\/p>\n

In de afgelopen jaren heb ik voornamelijk in de financi\u00eble sector gewerkt, waar ik aan een breed scala aan opdrachten heb gewerkt en deze ook heb geleid. Van IT-selectie en -implementatie tot data- en datakwaliteitsmanagement, en van ERM-implementaties tot projecten op het gebied van Regulatory Reporting.<\/p>\n

Wat mij drijft? Werken met teams van specialisten en experts op het gebied van finance, risk, data en IT om samen complexe uitdagingen succesvol aan te pakken. Die combinatie van uitdagende opdrachten en deskundige collega\u2019s maakt het werk voor mij interessant.<\/p>\n

Bij Mount wil ik dat blijven doen: samenwerken met gedreven professionals aan projecten die ertoe doen.<\/p>\n

Afgestudeerd in 2020 aan de Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i Universiteit in Istanbul met een bachelor in Bedrijfskunde. Na bijna een jaar te hebben gewerkt als Sales Operations Specialist in de telecommunicatiesector, maakte ik de overstap naar het vakgebied van financieel risicomanagement, waar data, finance en consultancy samenkomen. Mijn carri\u00e8re begon als consultant en ontwikkelde zich verder tot senior consultant gedurende een periode van drie jaar, waarin ik werkte aan projecten op het gebied van Regulatory Liquidity, Asset Liability Management, Hedge Accounting en Market Risk. Om mijn horizon te verbreden, verhuisde ik in 2024 naar Nederland om een MSc in Business Administration \u2013 Strategy te volgen aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. My professional career started at Rabobank as a management trainee. This gave me the opportunity to see many different aspects of a bank in a short timeframe. When I joined the bank\u2019s international division and was involved in the setup of new offices abroad this experience was enriched by gaining understanding of how senior executives and regulators are looking at the performance of a bank. After working with several external advisors, I changed sides and first joined Ernst Young Consulting and subsequently KPMG Consulting. For almost twenty years I was involved in developing it\u2019s management consulting practice in the Financial Services sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

After KPMG I joined ACE Company first concentrating on developing it\u2019s interim practice and later consulting. Four and half years later I transferred to Mount Consulting. Triggered to add value by advisory rather than auditing numbers and processes. Growing experience at EY, PwC, Capco and Synechon, in New York, London, and Amsterdam, in consulting as well as leading positions, I decided it was time providing the financial services industry with an alternative for the current consulting firms. At Mount, like in the last 20 years within other consulting firms, I focus my advisory skills at the CFO and CRO domain of financial services organisations, and, more specifically, at aligning both functions to improve performance.

Na het afronden van mijn bachelor Bedrijfskunde aan de Athens University of Economics and Business besloot ik mijn ambitie om in het buitenland te wonen en werken na te streven door een master Banking and Finance te behalen aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Sindsdien bouw ik aan een carri\u00e8re waarin ik financi\u00eble instellingen help hun risicobeheer- en compliancepraktijken te versterken, onder andere bij een grote Nederlandse bank binnen de risk- en reportingafdeling.<\/p>\n

Bij Mount Consulting word ik gedreven door projecten waar data, regelgeving en impact samenkomen\u2014waarbij ik kritisch denkvermogen en analytische vaardigheden inzet om onze klanten te helpen goed onderbouwde, waarde toevoegende beslissingen te nemen. Mijn interesse voor de financiele sector is gewekt toen ik middenin de financiele crisis aan mijn studie Bedrijfskunde begon. Na het afronden van mijn master (International Financial management) was een start als business consultant in de financiele sector dan ook geen onlogische keuze. Als business consultant heb ik mij met name gefocused op projecten binnen het CRO- en CFO domein, wat na 5 jaar de behoefte triggerde mijn kennis van de financiele markten verder te verdiepen. Ik besloot een overstap te maken naar een Treasuy afdeling van een nederlandse bank. Met veel plezier heb ik gewerkt aan de verschillende Treasury verantwoordelijkheden, maar toen ik de energie en dynamiek van projecten begon te missen, besloot ik mijn opgedane kennis in te brengen bij Mount Consulting.<\/div>\n
Binnen Mount focus ik mij op vraagstukken die het Treasury- en ALM-domein raken, om met deze business kijk ervoor te zorgen dat we end-to-end value chain oplossingen realiseren voor onze klanten.<\/div>\n

Ik behaalde mijn bachelor in Management aan de Cracow University of Economics, aangevuld met een uitwisselingssemester aan ESSEC Business School in Parijs. Vervolgens deed ik professionele ervaring op waarmee ik mijn academische basis kon toepassen en versterken. Ik werkte aan financi\u00eble en data-analyses, forecasting en M&A-gerelateerd onderzoek, en stelde inzichten en presentaties op ter ondersteuning van besluitvormingsprocessen. Deze ervaringen hebben mijn analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden sterk ontwikkeld en mijn interesse gewekt om mijn kennis van finance verder te verdiepen.<\/p>\n

Gemotiveerd om mijn expertise te verbreden, volgde ik een master Financial Economics aan de Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam. Daar volgde ik verdiepende vakken in corporate finance, governance en financi\u00eble modellering, wat mijn interesse in de wisselwerking tussen finance en strategie verder heeft aangescherpt.<\/p>\n

Bij Mount Consulting wil ik mijn academische achtergrond en praktische ervaring combineren door te werken aan uitdagende projecten die langdurige waarde cre\u00ebren voor klanten. Mijn internationale traject in Polen, Frankrijk en Nederland heeft mijn open en flexibele blik gevormd, die ik graag meeneem in de dynamische omgeving van Mount Consulting.<\/p>\n

Born in Belgium, grew up in Germany, since then the world has been my village. I grew up around computers and technology, so a study in IT seemed to be the logical thing. Working in a bank, I was fascinated by the virtuality of it all, just data being created, manipulated, moved, erased, through numerous processes and systems\u2026 But there was more out there, because asset managers, pension funds, private banks all manipulated data in their own way! The next step was obvious: consulting. Through international projects I realized that change only works and makes an impact if it starts with a vision at the crossroads of data, business and IT. So I became an Enterprise Architect and that is what I have been doing ever since.<\/p>

Architecture was also the reason for my other love: photography. The way we build impressive feats of engineering, the way nature finds a way to shape majestic landscapes, it has been a hobby which teaches me a lot about the commonalities and differences between virtual architecture and real-life constructions.<\/p>

But of course, my life would not be complete without my family, with whom I try to spend what little spare time I have. I will always be grateful for their support and tolerance in all the endeavors, like Mount Consulting, as without them this adventure would not be possible.<\/p>

After graduating with a master\u2019s in business economics from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) I spent six years at a major Dutch bank, working on various finance and risk change projects. After studying Psychology and Economics, decided to pursue a job as a consultant in the financial services sector. During the first couple of years whereby I worked on various projects, I realized that I mainly enjoy finding suitable solutions for problems where business and IT meet. After studying Economics in Slovenia and Montenegro, I started my professional career in Finance. After growing experience in various functions within Accounting and Controlling, I succeeded my career in management and executive roles within the Finance domain of leading Montenegrin companies. Meanwhile I got my Certified Accountant degree and became Lecturer of Basic Accounting and Advanced Financial Reporting at the Institute of Certified Accounting of Montenegro. I graduated from the Erasmus University, where I completed my MSc in Finance. The next step was clear: consultancy in the financial services sector. After taking some time off for my other passion, travelling and discovering a new culture, I started working in a medium-sized international consulting firm.<\/p>

Soon I discovered that the flexibility and no-nonsense of a niche firm would suit me better and I was lucky enough to join Mount Consulting, where I can now focus on strategy and transformation within the CFO and CRO domains. After earning my Bachelor\u2019s degree in Economics and Business Economics at Utrecht University, I gained practical experience through an internship position in audit. Having started in Banking during my Bachelor\u2019s degree, setting directions for the start of my career came easy.
